Grupo Mayan Nuevo and Puerto Vallarta look forward to creating and maintaining the best tourist resorts that provide high-quality lodging and the best options for relaxation and entertainment. They remain committed to exceeding the expectations of our clients within an environment that promotes the personal development of our staff and their commitment to sustainable tourism.

They are proactively committed to the environment, to our community, and to the entire society, as Theyll as to maintaining Green Globe certification. To that end, They strive to always operate according to all government regulations, according to the Ethics Code of the World Tourism Organization, and according to other provisions or premises that They are subject to.

They generate employment for nearby communities, taking part in the development of the places where our operations are located.

They rationalize the use and consumption of water and energy resources through better control and monitoring practices, by updating equipment and facilities, and by promoting the most efficient technologies and responsible consumption by collaborators and guests.

They remain committed to our Wastewater Treatment Plant; our objective is to produce quality treated water that complies with established standards and to study the possible new uses for treated water within the resort.

They promote the conservation, re-use and recycling of materials and natural resources while continuing to separate, re-use and recycle solid waste, thereby decreasing the quantity of garbage sent to the municipal dump and lessening the deterioration of our environment.

They handle toxic and/or dangerous waste at the resort in a responsible manner.

Whenever possible, They use biodegradable products in our developments, and They continually try to replace non-biodegradable products with others that are less aggressive to the environment.

They promote the economic development of the region by purchasing from local or regional suppliers, thus contributing to the economic growth of the places where They are located.

They endeavor to save and restore the ecosystems in which They operate, by protecting the flora and fauna, reforesting, and relocating species that are in endangered zones.

They maintain automobile parking facilities in optimal condition in order to minimize contamination by noise and emissions to the atmosphere.

They set up systems to encourage continuous improvement, and They involve resort collaborators and business partners in the environmental aspects of our operation.

They communicate to collaborators, clients, guests, business partners, Green Globe 21, and to society at large, what our developments do to preserve the environment, with the aim the aim of introducing them to this sustainable culture and inviting them to participate.

Through the Delia Moran Foundation, They help with community development by participating in philanthropic activities, donations, literacy, and educational programs, conservation programs, special events and entertainment, all of which improve the quality of life in our community.

They seek to impart a love of nature and a concern for the environment and for native species to the children of our community.

They annually review our performance with respect to these objectives and environmental policies; They send environmental reports to Green Globe; and They establish new short-term goals for sustainable development.
