Claims vs Facts: What is claimed and promised vs what you really get

Today, everyone who has access and resources to open a cheap web site has a wonderful thing, which is the freedom to express there whatever they want. But these freedoms are abusive sometimes and some people used personal agendas and published misinformation in the Web for their own obscure proposes. As it has been happening in the last years, some small groups in US and Canada are showing no respect for Mexico. In their very close mind Mexico is equivalent to: corruption, fraud, and delinquency. But also they like the cheap prices and wonderful treatment they received as tourists. Do not misinterpret me, fortunately these groups are small and the majority of US Americans and Canadians do not have that deformed view of Mexico. As an example of this kind of behavior a small group of auto-denominated US Americans and Canadians are publishing misinformation regarding Mexican timeshares and related services. The main line of thinking is that they were mislead for unscrupulous sales agents. Their reasoning is that they were purchasing timeshares for renting. The contracts are very clear regarding that the main use is for personal vacation ownership and do not offer securities for renting the units.

Why they are opening these types of web sites? What are the motives behind them? Well the truth is that they are using this for blackmailing timeshare developers in Mexico. How does this works? It is very simple, after the fact of signing contracts and obtaining several benefits and incentives that the developers invest as sale strategy. These people claim that they were mislead and the product and service they purchased was a misrepresentation. Well in almost all cases they recognize that what they purchase was a timeshare unit in a specific hot and luxury development, for example Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta. But the real motive was that they want to profit as an investment, when they realize that without the proper marketing tools and targeting the correct audiences its profits are not what they expected then they claim the whole thing is a scam. They then send cancellation letters to the developers, but because the chill-out period is five-days and all the investment cost that was spend for the sale, developers usually denied those cancellations. Then what happens is that they open nasty web sites with misinformation to threaten the developers than if they do not obtain a full refund they will maintain discrediting web sites to discourage possible buyers. Some of them had use very aggressive tactics sending spam email to resort sponsors. And they sent copies of those emails to intimidate the marketing people in the developers’ staff.

But what is the prevalence of this behavior? Well, for example Mayan Resorts has more than six thousand satisfied clients; the specific group that we are talking is only six couples that represent only less than 0.1% of the clients. As it is mentioned, the behavior is completely unethical, because they take advantage of all the benefits and goodies that the developers invest for the sales and additionally they want more "full refunds". Cheat the contracts and the law. When they do not obtain what they want, profits, they push for more using this kind of strategies.

But, what is the truth? Well the truth is you should buy a timeshare for the right reasons, to enjoy wonderful and luxury vacations in places that in other systems are inaccessible for the public.  Mayan Resorts offer you the best of the best, location, construction, projects, services and experience. Your investment there is more profitable than other places because you have enormous trade-in power for exchanging weeks to other places all over the world.

That is the secret, why thousand of customers are satisfied, they have a wonderful place to go each year or if they want to go to another place they could easily exchange their week. Do not allow that other people think for you, do your own research, compare options in US, Canada and Mexico, and I am sure than you will conclude that Mayan Resorts is you best option.
